Food POI writes: We have plenty of new cafe that serving gourmet white coffee in town. But to serve flower tea, it is kinda rare as I only heard of Winter Warmers. Thanks to Bok (www.taufulou.com), I was invited to his ex colleague’s newly opened restaurant that mainly serving flower teas. It is called “Societea” which at first I thought is called society ….. The ambiance in the restaurant pretty relaxing and cozy as the light were set to dim after 10pm. Food POI writes: Last week when I visit my fellow photographer trainer at First Photography in Penang, they are kind enough to treat me a bottle of special sarsi drink. At first I thought they are holding a bottle of tamarind juice syrup which quite common to store in a small bottle. It carries a chicken brand and it is 100% made in Malaysia, Kota Bahru Kelantan to be exact. Each bottle cost RM0.75 compared to F&N Sarsi which cost more than this. The bottle slightly smaller 285ml vs normal can of Sarsi which contain 325ml. Taste wise, it is not that sweet. The sarsi taste still pretty strong but not as much gas ...
