Wilson Ng writes: THAILAND Krabi Hot Spring Khlong Thom – Jacuzzi Spa In Nature This is gem. Even Rachel never seen this pictures before. My first ever trip to Krabi in 2003 with my colleagues and friends. Not much people know about this Krabi Hot Spring. In fact, the guide who brought us there only went there once with us. We traveled by bus back then from Kuala Lumpur to Trang and back to Krabi, Hadyai and back to Kuala Lumpur. We went to the hot spring while we were in Krabi. Now, the only way to the Khlong Thom hot spring is through the Krabi Rainforest Day Tour. I read this from many other websites such as this one from ...

thenomadGourmand writes: This is a film for people who love women, great music, Italy of the 1960’s, and the musical genre. Surprisingly, for a non-musical fan, I truly enjoyed this movie. Surprisingly again, the movie didn’t get very good reviews from the critics. Ok, I got to admit, I’m not sure about cinematology, smart dialogues, integration of sequences of songs and dances, inspiring plots, storyline’s substance and etc etc that the movie critics were complaining ...

bangsar-babe writes: Recently, I’ve been getting a fair bit of not-so-nice comments from regular readers and strangers. It started from the way I look, to my taste in food, and most recently, my personality. I didn’t know about this, until a few people told me about the comments. While friends tell me that I owe it to no one to clarify matters, I feel the need to do so. Here is an example:I might seem like that sometimes, but I honestly do not ...

Hatched, Evans road
ladyironchef writes: If there’s anything that I will not get sick of, it will definitely be eggs. I love eggs! Be it scrambled eggs, poached eggs or sunny side-up, I can have them every day. I always envisage the idea of a restaurant serving all day brunch. By that, I mean a place which has all day breakfast for not just breakfast, lunch but also dinner – serving nothing but breakfast food. In the past year, we have seen the entrance of many new brunch places in Singapore. Hatched at Evans Lodge is a restaurant that serves all day breakfast. I went to Hatched during a weekday lunch. Even ...

vkeong writes: Next time, if you around KL Sentral and feeling hungry, why not hop over to Mr.Chiam’s Fritters stall and help yourself with some delicious pisang goreng, curry puff, kuih bakul and sesame balls. They are all made fresh and most importantly cheap and affordable, something that’s fast becoming rare in KL nowadays. When I first heard [...]

Ayam Bakar
keropok man writes: I accompanied sis for some urgent shopping at Far East Square. When we reached there, we were so hungry and had to eat before we could shop. We walked around and saw Resto Surabaya. What prompted us to go in was the Sunday Times cutting on the glass wall. It was Posh Nosh recommendation of cheap eats. We ordered the Ayam Bakar. $6 Portions initially looked small, but it was actually enough for the two of us to share. It was really fragrant and the sauce is really Indonesian style sweet. (if you want to put it nicely, very well caramelized sauce LOL) We really like it!...

Lyrical Lemongrass writes: Aliyaa holds many memories for me –  memories of sharing a birthday celebration a couple of years ago with two special people in my life (with an FBB-created pavlova, no less), memories of being surprised with a gorgeous set of sushi cakes, and memories of meeting certain people for the first time there and enjoying friendships that have lasted thus far.  There are other memories, but some are best kept within the confines of the four walls and staircase.  Ah, it is a hard task to be secret-keeper and friend, especially when the white page of my blog beckons.  My loyalty, ...

Wilson Ng writes: Tresor Casino De Bariloche, Patagonia, ARGENTINA Casinos are everywhere in Argentina. Almost in every town we visited. One of the most memorable casino out of all I visited in Argentina was the Tresor Casino De Bariloche in the lovely city of Bariloche, Patagonia. Out of the few places that I fell in love in Argentina, Bariloche is one of them. I wish I could own one of the apartment to stay there during summer or even winter. My 2 nights stay in Bariloche was memorable. Shopping is a fun thing to do here as well as the cold weather in summer. One of the places to visit especially at night is the Tresor Casino De Bariloche. Located and attached Hotel ...

J2Kfm writes: Today proved to be a most disastrous Tuesday, in more ways than one. Fuming mad no thanks to pathetic bureaucracy and red tape, plus stubborn-headed donkey of a boss (the disadvantages of working with the government and under someone from the Jurassic age), we heaved a sigh of relief when lunch hour beckoned. Initially planned to [...]
