Dragon-I Restaurant @ Queensbay

Malaysia

Steamed Meat Dumpling
vkeong writes: I’ve been longing to try Dragon-I but have been put off by the expensive price of the food. It was not until I received my second Advertlets payout then only I decided to dine in Queensbay’s Dragon-I. Seriously, Dragon-I has a very good marketing strategy. They put up a glass before the entrance at all restaurants where you can see the chefs prepare noodles and meat dumplings. It always draws passer-bys and I am always one of them. So, kinda happy that I get to fulfill my curiosity finally. And the meal can be considered free because of the extra money, lol. Steamed meat dumplings (siu ... read more

boo_licious writes: Kaya with Bamboo Charcoal ToastLast weekend, it was retail therapy at the mall - kinda didn't help that the stores are all on sale. Anyway, I reckon I'm doing my part in boosting the economy. Who knows but I probably had a hand in the record breaking growth rate, they recently announced. I stumbled on this place, when we did a walkaround the lower ground level of The Gardens. Lots of new places now opened - Nyonya Colours, Yo! Sushi, Big Apple Donuts & Coffee, Shihlin Taiwan Snacks, I Love Yoo!, Jonker Street Desserts, Rak Thai and etc.Peanut butter sesame toastWe were fascinated with the ... read more

vkeong writes: Oh I am too late to blog about this lol. Pizza Hut already has a new promotion “Golden Happiness Cheesy Crown” going on in conjunction with the coming Chinese New Year! Since I already have the photos, might as well cincai talk about it lah. Before this CNY promotion, they had this Mexican Fiesta Bonanza which started November last year. It's so famous that it needs no introduction. I have been here since I was a kiddo. We always drop by here on our way to my aunt's house in Kampung Ampang Tasek. Located at Restaurant Sun Fatt Kee, just across from Seapark market, business here starts when night falls. They share the premises with a bak kut teh stall and during the day, you can get excellent Teochew porridge here with fried clams, assam fish and etc. Seems they're well known among PJ-ites and is also known as the "Maybank mamak", since they're right in front of the bank.Famous Fried ChickenTables and chairs will be set up around the shop and even outside on the side of the road. teckiee writes: Want to have good Italian pasta but don't have that kind of money? Think no more because California Express BBQ and Grille Station is definitely the place for you.HAHAHA sounds like a cheezy advertistment, but really, I really like the food here. Many thumbs up for the pasta! Many of the restaurant I have eaten uses the same tomato base as their sauce. Everything will taste like Bolognaise even if you have ordered Seafood. But here it's different. I love the heavy fragrance and the different flavors of the herbs and spices that are used for the sauces. Oh, and when the menu says al dente, you really get your pasta al ... read more

WIP
Lyrical Lemongrass writes: He told me he had booked the entire restaurant for me. I simply snorted at him. Of course, it certainly felt like that. The entire restaurant was empty that Sunday afternoon, and all eyes were on us. I felt like digging my nose just to see their reaction. The latest baby in town, Cafe WIP, brainchild of Fred and Michelle (owners of Souled Out), was our chosen lunch destination. This is what they said on their flyers: “Stripped walls, a hodge podge of chairs and tables and PCK look-alikes? No, we are not a hardware shop nor are we an interior design depot. ... read more
