Pavilion KL @ Bukit Bintang

Malaysia

food republic pavilion
vkeong writes: During my trip to Kuala Lumpur last week, I also visited Pavilion KL in Bukit Bintang. My first impression on Pavilion was huge, grand and very expensive. I don’t think I can afford anything inside lol. And maybe because it was a weekday, there weren’t as much people I expected. Food Republic, the classy food court is almost a dream come true for food bloggers like me, it has almost everything! The exorbitant price is something to think about though. I can only display the photos which fit my blog’s width. So, please go ahead and click on them if you want a bigger and better view.... read more

Log 'n Roll
babe_kl writes: After our share-share dinner, we bumped into my ex-colleague at one of those kiosks at LG, Midvalley Megamall. I was surprised to see him busy selling his wares there hahaha... but it's a good thing! I was quite happy to see the wares he's peddling... one of my fave food! It's chee cheung fun (rice noodles) that came in pre-packaged form. Just need to steam or microwave them. How convenient!Apparently all these while his family have been the producer and supplier of chee cheung fun. It is only a few days back they started to retail the pre-packages at a kiosk with the name Log 'n Roll.... read more

Shihlin at Gardens Midvalley
babe_kl writes: LOL... sure would have captured your attention eh with that kind of title?? Actually it was just a simple dinner at the new errrmmm Asian food section at The Gardens but I thot the title was kinda appropriate when we practically shared a bowl of noodles, a piece of chicken, and dessert, well except for the drink last night. Seems like another mall crawl to me too hehe.I got the lead to check out sbread from Jocelyn who dropped me a mail yesterday informing of this place she had tried it in Bangkok serving a unique yam kaya (a type of coconut jam). Her description made my mouth waters that I decided to check it out ... read more

boo_licious writes: Braised Peanuts When it comes to Crystal Jade's restaurants, my whole family are great fans. They regularly dine at the Singapore and China outlets till they have their favourites. Recently, with the opening of the two new malls, The Gardens and Pavilion, Crystal Jade has been expanding. To add to their existing outlets - Crystal Jade Lai Mian at Lot 10 and C-Jade Express in Mid Valley Megamall, they now have Crystal Jade Kitchen and C Jade Meal Cube at Pavilion and Crystal Jade Restaurant at the Gardens. Steamed Spinach with Garlic Dumpling (RM7++) Each new outlet has slight variations - the Crystal Jade Meal Cube is said to serve Western food while the Crystal Jade Kitchen ... read more

boo_licious writes: Hokkaido Chirashi Don (RM15.90)War of the Malls! So many places to shop and eat that one is now spoilt for choice. Although Pavilion is much bigger compared to the newly opened Gardens at Mid Valley City, I can envisage I'll end up spending more time here since it's located nearer to home. We did a few quick rounds at the mall to check out specifically Robinsons because they had the special promotion of 20% discount if you spent RM200 from 26th to 30th September, 2007. Saw loads of items I would love to have but decided to restrain myself. My mum was telling me about the first Robinsons which was previously located at Jalan Tun Perak (where the ... read more

Tummythoz writes: Needless to say, food blogs influence most to try places which otherwise look forbidden or just too quiet to attempt. I’m no different. Or should I say, I'm weak. I get influenced all the time. Don’t believe? When there’s a chance ask to see my light purse and bulging tummy. Located on a higher floor with stairs to boot, it is quite safe to say I may never eat here (most friends can vouch for my read more
